My weekend

On Friday my sister had her birthday party she had a couple of friends over.There was lots of food and we played a lot of games outside.On Saturday we doped her friends of and went to hokitika. When we got to hoki i went with my aunts and uncle ra to go to the pa.We went down the river to see Perry Weepu. When we were down there they were filming a show kind of thing for the Moira TV channel.Me,Phillip and enia got filmed for the thing.On Sunday we went to the George.To see the coffee cart up and running there were about 400 people that Got food or something to drink.When we got back Makiaya had another birthday party but this one was on her birthday and it was for her family in hokitika got to see her.All of us kids went to the hay bail's.We were there for half an hour we tried getting Lucy's orange that she dropped down the hay bail.Then it was Lucy's granddads birthday party we went on the water slid.And that was my weekend.

My Speech:Why professional league players are not overpaid

WALT:Write and preform a successful speech.
I am happy with my speech because i did a lot of research to back up my reasons.I also asked people out side of school about my topic.In my presentation i thought i could have had more confidence in my self.I think i did well considering i memorised a couple of paragraphs.My class mates said i  persuaded the audience and had good info.

My weekend

On Saturday i had league we had nine players and suburbs had 11.At half time it was 12-0 with ten minutes  to go in the game my Cousin Broke his arm.So then we had 8 players.We one 34-6  And that puts us in the semi finals.Later that night I watched a lot of league.That night we Watched the lightning.

My weekend

On Saturday i played league  against Cobbden we lost but we had a relay  good game.I got west coast player of the day picked bye the other team.Then on Sunday i got up at 2 and watched the crusaders. then we had a mini Conner marathon in the heavy rain.i came second the person that beat me was 14.

Response writing NRL 2017

The Sydney Rooster Hosting  The St. George Illawarra dragons at  A record crowd of 40,864 people  at the Sydney Football stadium waiting for the Anzac day rugby league clash. Both teams in the top 4 on the Nrl ladder which was sure to add extra spice to the showdown. Being Anzac day there are a lot  of emotions that floats around the rugby league field when you are remembering the people who helped save this country. The  dragons have won  10 of the last 15 Anzac goes against the roosters who have only won 5.

This game was a gripping  game of league that had a lot of mistakes but made a lot of twists on the way.

I think playing and acknowledging ANZAC Day with a good game of league is

Silence filled the crowd at the Anzac day clash  when the  last post is played on the trumpet.

.The 40,864 people stand in silence for a minute to remember those who sacrificed themselves  to save this country. For the dragons and the roosters to play on Anzac day it is a privilege for them and 2 other teams, the New Zealand warriors and the Melbourne storm. It is the biggest day of games in the regular season of  Rugby league.When the players get there with 40,000 people in the crowd it is a pretty good way to get the blood pumping and get the emotion to attack the game of rugby league. Players say it overcomes them when they hear the last post and seeing  the excitement in the crowd crowd you get caught up in the emotion of the game.

I think there were a lot of mistakes made by both teams, in the first 40 minutes.

In the first half the roosters had an early let of in the  7 minute of the game with Gareth widdop uncharacteristically missing a penalty goal from right out in front.Yet another error from the dragons when they get denied a try by Jason nightingale losing control in the air and knocking it on right on the line.The roosters next to butcher their first attacking opportunity.With the set piece not going to plan with the roosters pass going to ground which almost was a good thing but Michael Gordon slips and but gets the ball away And the roosters knock it on.So both teams making too many errors.But the mistakes wouldn't stop Joel Thompson  from stem rolling over 2 roosters fords to give the dragons a 6 point lead with the kick going over.Finally a spark from the dragons to give the crowd something to roar about.just a good play from an individual to start the game and wake the players up.another piece of brilliance from and individual Michel piece coming so close to the line but was came up short.it was a devastating lose for the dragons losing their captain Gareth widdop to a knee injury just before half time. Half time  both coaches wouldn't be impressed with the amount of errors and the game not flowing the way the would want it to.

There were some big turning points in the game.

The dragons slowly falling to pieces with Gareth widdop out of the game.it would only take the rooster 10 minutes to score the first points with Michael peise kicking the ball it to the goal line and Blake foraging grounds  the ball to score the try. Michle piece missing the kick at goal which would still leave the Struggling dragons in front by 2 points. Michle piece being almost everywhere.This time convincing everyone he had dropped the ball over the line.But with the great TMO who checks the try  found him losing the ball but regathering and scoring to put them in front. Michael piece kicking the goal in front to give them the 4 point lead.The dragons them clicking their line drop out out on the full.which give the roosters  a penalty right in front. Michel peise take the 2 points to make it 6 12 to the roosters.The rooster playing the game they wanted to be playing in the first half.There not giving the dragons much ball and the flow of the game for the roosters is superb. So with the dragons trailing by 6 leaves them scrambling for a converted try. Nene MacDonald gets a pass on the ground and bounce up  he breaks 5 tackles and smashes over to score in the 77 minute of the game.With no Gareth widdop the kick would full in the hands of dragons  fullback josh dugan. The pressure was on for  josh to get the kick to level the scores to take this Anzac day clash to golden point.The kick goes over straight thru the middle.Golden point know on the mind of all the players,crowd.coaches, and fans from around the world watching this game.Golden point is first team to score points wins.It wouldn't take long for Michael peas to kick the drop kick to win the Anzac day clash between the Dragons and the Roosters.

This game had too many mistakes in the first half.But the roosters manage to come together and win the game 13 to 12.I recommend all league fans to watch this tight gripping Anzac day game between the dragons and the roosters.It will keep you entertained for the whole 80 minutes and more.I recommend you to check out the http://www.nrl.com/   Nrl Website to see all the latest league score,fixer,finals, and other competition.

My weekend

on Saturday i went to theo and niko's  house.when i got their we played on the Xbox  then we went down and played rugby that did int last long because theo heart himself.on Sunday we went to the movies and watched transformers (yeah again) then we just mucked around in town and then went to the high school and get picked up.

  On Friday my dad picked me up from  school.we went to my dads friend house.on the way home we went to the movies on Friday watched transformers. on Saturday i had rugby for kiwi we lost to west port.then had to go up to grey mouth and played league we beat suburbs.then at home i watched the rest of moan.on Sunday we had our firt night.

The story that this art work tells is a gang of men on their horses making a robbery/hold  up  on a couple of old ladys  in the outback of Australia .

The detail, looks plain from afar, closer inspection its detailed.

Notice the minor details

This artwork shows  minor detail from a far distance.when you look closer  you can see   the horses have different shades  of colours and lines which makes dark  colours in parts of the horse.

Overall this  artwork tells a remarkable story and is very detailed piece of artwork

 For our writing we came up  with a more interesting way to share.we decided roll play TV interview with the author.

Dance styles

this term we have been learning how people have been using the arts to communicate. We  have investigated the characteristics of different  dance styles. We experimented with each dance styles  ourselves, practised our note taking skills and created our own dance sequence.

Narrative writing

for the past term we have been doing writing narratives.at first we played the game of awesome.which  is a card game witch involves telling narrative stories.Then we got aides from the cards and stories and write 2 narratives.In our 3 narrative we got to choose to use the game off awesome  or make up our own.So i decided to write my own and work with a friend.So me and Theo write our narrative here it is here push play to read.

Mr Barnet and Henk.

Today  we  had Mr Barnet  and Henk come to teach us about Moana's wild life. And and they tout us about birds water and plants.We went on a bush track.It was fun and good to get out of the class room.We got to eat a chilly leaf it was hot.We smelled this stinky leaf and it smelled like farts.

The great spotted kiwi

The kiwi is a flightless bird native to New Zealand the kiwi is from the same family As emu ostrich and the moa. There.There are 5 kiwis and 1 of them is the great spotted kiwi. The great spotted kiwi has many characteristics lives in mountainous habitats  with many  predators and prey.

The great spotted kiwi has many characteristics.It has long soft  grey feathers  with a white and reddish brown  back its feather feels like fur. It is  a small bird that has wings But cannot fly. It is the biggest kiwi as the size at 45cm tall. The great spotted kiwi has nostrils at the end of its beak.and it has whiskers like a cat and has incredible sense of smell.

The great spotted kiwis habitat is in a brushy mountain environment. They are  found in three location on the West Coast  New Zealand location of North-West Nelson,the Paparoa Range,and near Arthur's Past. They are soil feeders,kiwi prefer places where they can get straight to the dirt. The great spotted kiwi likes places like tussocks grasslands,beech forests,hardwood forest and scrub.

The great spotted kiwi has many predators and preys. They like to eat small bugs like beetles,snails,earthworm,wetas,centipedes,spiders,and freshwater crayfish. They use their size and strength to defeat their predators. The great spotted kiwi when it is a adult it can defend of most of its predators.like stoats,ferret,weasels,pigs,brush possum,cats.but have no chance of defending of dogs.

All kiwi are endangered and protected in New Zealand.
